Kelly Botta | PA-C, MSPAS, Founder

Kelly is a board certified physician assistant and graduate of Shenandoah University's top ranked Physician Assistant program where she earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, the terminal degree for physician assistants. 

She has fifteen years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, as well as experience in Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine. Her professional interests include: preventative care, improving health literacy, musculoskeletal conditions and managing chronic disease such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

Kelly founded Smartypants Medicine in 2020. She serves as the Northern Shenandoah Regional Coordinator for the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Kelly is married to Jeff, a local physical therapist, and together they have three young children. She enjoys spending time with her family, home DIY projects, adventure activities, hiking and anything sports or fitness related.​
